[Fanny's checking out the town center: graveyard, museums, etc. She's dressed relatively conservatively, but that mostly means conventional fabrics and no fishnets.]

[Iroh has left Facilier to his own devices for the time being, and he suspects that this means he'll be freaking out the locals in one of the various little shops which seem to cater to his...interests? But without his ability to contact the Other Side, all he can really do is part fools from their money, which seems to already be the point of half these attractions. Iroh, for his part, has been shopping and he's dressed now in a loosely tailored, still slightly odd-feeling outfit - nothing a thousand miles away from how he's normally dressed, but certainly not his usual robes.
He's meandering more than exploring, heading vaguely in the direction of the graveyard; when he turns a corner and sees Fanny there he smiles and waves at her.]
Very well, thank you, very well! Although I admit I'm still - adjusting. This world is very unlike my own.
[He's just about stopped overreacting to cars and buses, for example. His homeland boasts all sorts of overground war machines, tanks and the like, but they seem slow and unmanoeuvrable by comparison.]
[Head swivels as a passerby gabbing on an iPhone goes past.]
Though I can tell you, things have certainly changed in the last decade. Not as much as Robin said they would, but ... well. I can only imagine it must be a bit of a change for you.
[Iroh's actually adjusted to all the little gadgety things faster than anything else, because they're all over the Barge and he hasn't otherwise given them much thought. It's the larger machines and devices which he finds mind-boggling.]
Enormously so. I could not conceive of any city quite like this. I've seen pictures, but to actually be here... [He half-sighs and trails off.] So you are from the same place as this, but an earlier time?
I'm doing much the same, although there is something of an aimless wander to it, I confess. [He lifts his eyebrows and smiles brightly.] Perhaps I could have the honour of accompanying you for a while? A lovely young woman should never be left alone in a strange place.

Were you headed anywhere in particular? I'm just seeing the sights, myself.

Well, I'd be honoured, darling. [Grin.] I was actually headed in the direction of the cemetery; I understand it's quite a sight.
