The "List"
This is the official songs and artists to live by list, it will often be amended; but here is the start:
*Damien Rice "O" - an album of pure genius, singer/songwriter extrodinaire; highlight songs "Volcano", "Amie", "Cannonball"
*Dispatch, any album - the music is soothing, yet also has a reggae kick mixed in with some rock riffs; highlight songs "The General", "Flying Horses", "Do You Suppose"
*Eagle-Eye Cherry "Desireless" - an older album, but always a good easy listen, singer/songwriter with poppy tones yet remains very original; highlight songs "Save Tonight", "Falling in Love Again"
*Evanescence "Fallen" - most people now know who they are, their piano mixed with heavy guitar riffs make them an incredible listen; highlight songs "Bring Me To Life", "Going Under", "Everybody's Fool", just listen to the whole album
*Flogging Molly, any album - irish punk rock group that blows away Dropkick Murphy's, fast and slow tracks keep this band interesting, not to mention their use of classic irish instruments; highlight songs "Devil's Dance Floor", "Rebel's of the Sacred Heart", "Drunken Lullabies"
*Shinedown "Leave a Whisper" - fairly new hard rock band, heavy riffs, unique in sound; highlight songs ".45", "Fly From the Inside", "Simple Man (cover of Skynard)"
