Finally! A Magic deck that can beat a Saproling Deck
The midget has been playing Magic: The Gathering at his afterschool daycare. One of the adults there, Ben, has an annoying Saproling deck that beats just about anything the goes against it.
I think the Saproling deck will meet its match on Monday.
Today, we did a little shopping for a few cards to build a deck that's designed to crush weenie decks like Ben's deck.
It includes four Nausea cards (all critters get -1/-1 until end of turn) and two Infest cards (all critters get -2/-2 until end of turn). It also has four Pestilence cards (tap a black mana to do 1 point of damage to every creature and player). Finally, as a 'big' creature, it includes one Frozen Shade (tap one black mana to pump it up by +1/+1. Frozen Shades ROCK when you have lots of mana to spare).
The midget just cleaned my clock when he used that deck against a nice white-weenie (samurai) deck I've been playing lately.
I just need to pick up a couple more Frozen Shades and a couple of Drain Lifes, and this will be all set to STOMP THAT WEENIE DECK!
