Hey Mrs. Grey, are you awake yet?
Wow, it's been awhile since I've updated -.- Well lets see the last place I left off was. . . . dancer, yes dancer. Well it's now level 37 and after that point I switched back to ranger. Atm we're currently 51, which was pretty quick from 37 I guess. We always do well when we get on, but it's so hard to get 6 different people on at the same time and some people are, well lets just say they're a lil more enthused then others. Rng has been a blast thus far. I finally got to equip my Vulcans Staff doing 450-550 FA's, which is fine until I get side winder. I sub War so I can learn how enmity works a little better and also b/c I can do this.
On /nin I tend to just go until I drop dead(Shadows), which I'm sure pisses the hell out of Garrett(Pld). /War does an amazing amount of dmg compared to /nin too. I have a Brd in my static so I never have to pull either. I might have to /nin every once in awhile for a level if we have ever fight mobs that are IT+ or IT++(Hawker's Knife x2). I attained 8/8 archery through merits awhile back, so I should be just fine. The amount of +ratck and +racc that +skill gives you has to be pretty amazing. Especially at these levels, even if the only evidence I have is through my experience. Either way I'm pumping the dmg out, and it only gets better.
I will have Sidewinder at 53 and Vali's Bow is waiting for me at 55. Hopefully the Bst in my Linkshell will finally be kind enough to give me my O.hat run. I have all my gear set up for Rng already(Minus a few pieces of god gear etc). The only expense I have left is. . . arrows. Atm it's around 20-25k for a stack of scorpion quivers(99x12). Even though that sounds like a huge number I mow through them fairly quick. Starting at level 60 I will be able to use demon arrows, which I will be shelling out 40-45k a stack for. You're pretty much throwing gil at the mob, so you should be doing quite a bit of dmg to make the high expense worth it.
Right now as I said above we're currently level 51 and at 54 we get to go to Aht Urghan and start leveling off of Colibri. Flying mobs have pretty much made merit's easy mode. I have gotten up to chain 81 w/ just a random ls party(Samurai). We were not the best geared or best set up by far, but did really well. Pretty much we'll be 75 in the blink of an eye, thanks to the expansions~ Any way that's all for now, I'll try to start keeping s/s of the places we level etc and keep this lj thing more up-to-date.
