I'm thankful for ma chere Alice B and the fabulous Mr. JAB
I'm thankful for my 25-year old gym membership and my abs
I'm thankful I’m intact. I’m thankful I’m not in rehab.
I'm thankful for the future which I'm about to share
I'm thankful for my LJ lovers, if you care
I'm thankful for (noble) whistleblowers and (fearless) freedom fighters who dare
I'm thankful for fiercely committed lovers of civil liberties
Who shield us from the claws of contemptible oppressors of democracy
Who, it so happens, are the same despicable war mongers who soak themselves in in-bred hypocrisy
I’m thankful for those who dare say “Enough!” to brazen domestic robbery and shameful / unspeakably barbaric imperialistic foreign policy!
O, yes! I'm thankful for all the / sane naysayers who oppose empire!
If you dare! Ah, yes! That is: if you dare!
I'm thankful for today and free air.
