So...how have you been?

So apparently it's been a really really long time since I posted here. Lots of reasons for that, none of which are worth mentioning, really.
What have I been up to? Some of this and a little of that. I've been sewing a lot lately, I'm happy to report! I have finished three quilted wall hangings and will soon have a fourth finished. Here are pictures in case you are curious:
In other family news, my sister got a job which she started in March. She's really liking it. Doesn't pay a ton but she is enjoying the work and the people, and that counts for a lot!!
I'm not writing, like, at all. I've quit watching H50. It isn't the show I fell in love with and my muses have deserted me. I'm sad about it - very sad. But I can't write stories for a show I no longer enjoy. I need to refresh my love of Star Trek. Or I could try my hand at Star Wars. I've never written in that world. (I tend to be a one-fandom girl when it comes to writing.) I'd really like to focus on original fiction but that scares the hell out of me. Which is of course all the more reason I should do it!
Otherwise my life continues to be as boring and non-eventful as ever. Our five dogs continue to be the loves of my life, although they need to eat less. But you can't have everything.
