It's funny how life is. One second things never seem like they are going right, no matter what you do. Then, all of the sudden, you realize something. It's not life that matters, but who is in your life that matters. It can be just one person who changes the way you look at things, it's that same person who has just changed your life. All of life is perspective. "Many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view." Move your point of veiw...change the truth. Becasue sometimes you could use a lot more then cookies, and sometimes you need a lot more then cookies.
On other notes of mentality...I have plans in the works, several things that I've wanted to do for a long time, and several things that will fix some problems. Sadly, I was informed today that my budget for our brotherhood retreat has been...modified. It's going to take a little more work, but I am dedicated to helping this chapter achive new levels of brotherhood, even if it kills me. After that is accomplished, I plan on reminding everyone (and myself in the process) what it is to have fun. I want to remind everyone that it's ok to be a little crazy from time to time. "In a mad world only the mad are sane." - Akira Kurosawa. Time to make headlines people, or time to get back in the headlines. The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
