Just wanted to say - I think this is really well written, the multiple character dialogue is keeping it appropriately light, and I definitely enjoyed this first chapter! Kudos! :)

Well, enjoy the lightness. We get more in the next three chapters, but then it takes a darker turn. 'Cause these two have some major insecurities to confront, and it'll take something pretty major to do it... Still, I promise plenty of humor; you can't expect anything less with a Doctor/Donna fic, can you?

And thanks for reviewing. To let you know, I like to hear if there were particular lines you enjoy, or if you have suggestions that would make the voices of the characters better. I am still very new to this fandom.

Yeah, I didn't fight my muse on this one. I was already too excited about MAAN, and this is kind of a therapy for not being able to see it. Yet... Am holding out hope for a film version, like what was done with Hamlet...

I'll post the next two chapters soon, but I'm struggling with Chapter 4, where our matchmakers run into something they weren't expecting - but should've given the discussion within this chapter...

BTW, love the userpic! I might ask to borrow it later on in the story...

I think coming up with nick-names for Jack must be a fun past-time for some Whovians. I borrowed "Captain Hard-On" for The Belted Doctor from somewhere. (Check for that one on my journal.) I also used "Mr. I'm-Always-Thinking-Naughty-Thoughts" in the same chapter of that fic.

Oh this looks interesting! MAAN is one of my absolute fave DT/CT roles together. And benedick and beatrice embody the doctor and donna to a "T"!! The same flippant snippy tomfoolery that so easily hides deep abiding love. I'm excited to start working through this one next. (I try to go in order of posting so will be working through them one by one now). A great start and an awesome idea! Allonsy!!!

This was too insistent of a plot bunny to not write. And there are too many parallels between Ten/Donna and Benedick/Beatrice, no matter how much DT and CT might stress they're different characters. (Which they are, mostly by their circumstances, but the point remains.) Enjoy the journey!
