Weird things I found on FF.N...
Okay, I had a moment of random searching the TV section of that website, as a break from beta reading, and got more than a few surprises. Okay, I'd already gotten the surprise of finding fanfiction based on a Public Broadcasting System kid's show from the 90s, "Ghostwriter," that I loved. (25 stories total.) Tonight I decided to do some more observing... and got my eyes opened wide. These were the biggest ones:
1. Supernatural has over 20,000 more fanfics written than Doctor Who. Excuse me? Which show has been around longer?!
2. Torchwood has almost a third as many fics written as Doctor Who. Wow... See above comment...
3. The Muppet Show and Muppets Tonight each have their own category. (Fewer than 90 fics COMBINED.)
4. Fraggle Rock, another Jim Henson creation that I watched, has a category. (59 fics.)
5. The Catherine Tate Show has its own category. (A measly 5 fics...)
and the one that baffles me more than any other...
6. ONE little poem for Casanova, 2005?!?!?! Isn't this the DT version?!?! WTF?!?!
