Really, what's with the queueing? Gee whiz, one major argument for low voter turnout must surely be those queues! Full marks to the people willing to wait upwards of an hour to be heard. Still, someone should really work on developing online voting... (and making sure the votes are recorded and not just counted once then discarded. Yes, Florida, I'm talking to you again)
*bounce* I'm all excited, despite being so freaking tired. CNN's got some excellent online result coverage happening - all races (Pres, Senate, House and Governorships), state by state, and by counties. They have a countdown clock to when the the next polls close and where. The geek inside me is in awe right now. *This* is an excellent demonstration of how good the Internet can be. *happy!Sigh*
CNN's rocking coverage! Hmmm, is it me, or is Bush a little scared...?
In other news (yeah, apparently there's stuff going on other than the US election), the new Wales Rugby coach has just named his team for Saturday's friendly against South Africa (a game I'm missing, but for a good reason). The bad news is, idiot!Coach has dropped one of our best players.
Amusing news? There are six Joneses. Six. Out of fifteen players. And five of them are forwards (that's five out of eight) The whole front row are Joneses. "Jones is getting destroyed in the scrum, whilst Jones is holding his side steady to give Jones enough support to hook the ball..."
Amused, I tell ya.
Also confused, but then I won't be watching the game. I'll be watching
maggis and
helsinkibaby squeal at Peter Wingfield. :D They better be more amusing than listening to the commentary for that game...
My hair is short again! Yay! (And dark. And a little blonde in places...)
