So this day is over thought it was never going to end. Got up about 5:30 and felt really good about today. There are definitely some things starting to go right. Made a good confession and started this year off the right way. I love seminary life. I just don't like it when I am not at my best, which I wasn't the first semester. The past is something to learn from for sure, but it doesn't dictate the outcome of the future it can always be changed. It is our simplest gift. To change what needs to be improved. I thought about this actually when I was looking at a friend of mines photos. She had done some mission work with poor children from underdeveloped countries. It's not just about what I can do to change my future, what should we do to be sure others can share it. So I challenge whoever might read this to take 10 minutes and see what your heart and your God wants you to do for someone else today.
