I guess I am officially sick, you guys. :( I'm all stuffy nose and sinus headache and uggggh. I couldn't even properly enjoy the city today I was all "nviroevioaaagh", not to mention all the crap I was carrying with me.
I guess I should explain -- I went into the city today for ~business~. Tanaya hooked me up with an editing job for a friend of hers. I'll be editing a hip-hop music video for an independent artist. I met up with the director guy today in Union Square so he could give me the footage and the song and tell me what he wants. He said I could basically just do whatever, but he wants quick cuts and slow-mo (which he already did for me, so yay!). I don't have to do the green screen either, he said, so that's good, although I took the green screen footage anyway so I have something to practice on.
That took about an hour, so then I went to Goodburger to have some lunch, and killed some time by naming all of the images in my GIFS folder because I would've felt stupid going home right away. Then I wandered around the farmer's market and Whole Foods, then went home since no one was available to hang out and my shoulders hurt from lugging my laptop and 500GB hard drive (which I wound up not getting to use).
Just took some Nyquil. I hope I don't have scary hallucinations in the middle of the night like last time.
