Howl's Moving Castle
I went and saw Howl's Moving Castle tonight. It's your typical Miyazaki film with, you know... that girl in it. The film was ok, lots of stuff to look at... very well made film. However, in my opinion it wasn't anything different from Luputa or Spirited Away. Just change the building location and add the same plot. As usual I spent most of the film trying to figure out what the heck was going on.
There were many loose ends, like how did the prince get like a scarecrow? No one in the film turned out to be truely evil. Although I place my bets on the fancy sorceress!!!
If you've seen Spirited Away, this movie is more of the same. I like Ghibli, but it's starting to smell like Disney.
