Snow was falling softly all around them and David smiled adoringly at Claudia, loving how adorable she looked, all bundled up.
She took his hand and smiled, “Come on, it’s easy.”
He laughed, “How did I ever let you talk me into this?”
She kissed his cheek before easing him out onto the ice. “Just relax. You’ll get the hang of it.”
She let go of him and gracefully skated circles around him before once again taking his hand. “I have an idea.”
Her eyes sparkled as she began skating backwards just out of his reach. “You want me? Skate.”
