Two Years Ago: I Met The Love Of My Life

On the night of 08/09/10, I went out on a 1st date with this wonderful woman. Here's what I said at that time: As some of my friends know, I've tried the Internet dating scene several times in the past couple years and each time I've batted .000. The last few women I've met have either been too strong, too needy, or just have no connection with between one or both of us once we meet in person. But last night, I met up with a woman I had been talking to online for a few weeks and I think there is maybe some chemistry there. She's 26, single, no kids or ex-hubby, and an overall nice young woman (and of course I think she's cute). We were at Red Robin until after closing time just talking, and while I'm not the type to "kiss and tell", I will say my cheek is very happy. :) We were definitely talking second date, so I'll see what she has planned for Sunday after church or for dinner that night.

Little did I know back then that I would be married to her 22 months later. I love my wife so very much!!
