Well hello there LJ, it's been a wee while... months in fact I reckon!
Thought I'd better update this thing soon or else that'd be it for the LJ I suspect, too long away makes for apathy in updating.
So what's been happening in the World of Becks lately..?
Well, my world is increasingly revolving around being in my car driving the A702-M74-M6 and reverse, and repeat. Last weekend was Graham's 21st birthday (sooo young!) and it was the inevitable first meeting of my parents and his parents. It went OK, better than I expected so that's good. His party was good too, really massive! They'd converted a barn into a marquee and there were around 200 people there so it was a big do! Didn't get myself too ratted though, thankfully, and Graham seemed to hold up OK too.
So yeah, that was last weekend. I've also been really busy at work, was up in the Highlands the past couple of days which was nice, although 7 hours driving in 24 hours wasn't so much fun!
Looking forward to the summer, Kirsty and John and us have booked a chalet in the Highlands for a week, and the plan is to mooch about, take in some sun (fingers crossed) and drink a fair bit!! Can't wait to be honest, but it's not til the end of July so I have a wee while to wait til then. Then, in October, I have my on-a-plane holiday, Graham and I are off with my parents to Majorca for a bit of late summer sun. So that should also be nice and will break up the long time between the summer and Christmas.
The kits are both well, though by the sounds of it they've been a bit naughty for Jamie whilst I've been away. Oh well, hopefully my return will settle them down a bit. At least at the moment they're both curled up on the sofa being quiet!!
Anyhoo, I've not much to report!! Settling down to watch the big match in Moscow... come on Utd!!
