GOOD UPDATE!
I was at the hospital with Mr.D this weekend. He has improved so much. The pneumonia seems to be going away now, he is off the morphine and the pain when he coughs is bearable, because he tells the nurse he doesn't need pain pills. He is so anxious to come home, he hates the hospital and being confined to a bed.
He was sitting up and eating again (yeah) and I helped him take a shower and he got to shave. Which really did make him feel better, fresh linens on the bed and fresh gown.
Well, I can't really say that mothers Day was my favorite this year (under the circumstances). I thought I was handling everything like a trooper, but I crashed and cried, once I got home. I sooooo hate to cry!!! I fight it with everything I have! The whole thing just caught up with me. Oh well, I got through it and I'm back up again. LOL
Hey, I just talked with Mr.D on the phone. He gets to come home today!(YEAH!!) I think he must have got on the floor and begged the Drs. because when he feels better, he hates to be held back. LOL
Oh I am sooo happy to hear that! He does have meds to take and he has to go back to the Hospital on Friday. They still have to put the scope down into his right lung and check things out. It has a camera on it and they can do a biopsy of the mass they found at the same time. (I don't know if I mentioned it before) When he had the Cat Scan results, it showed pneumonia and a mass 9x6 centimeters. They needed to get the pneumonia under control before they could deal with the mass. So that is the next "biggy". I just feel so GOOD today.
