HOW LUCKY AM I!
I have been helping out with Daniel lately and spending most of my time with him and Cathy. My daughter has grown up so much, she is very wise and kind. She puts her families needs before her own, as well as managing the bills. She definitely gets her money managing skills from her father. She is so frugal and can really stretch a penny, make a good meal out of absolutely nothing, sews like a skilled seamstress and will go without sleep to help her family. Handles huge amounts of stress with a smile on her face, you would never guess what shes going through. She just amazes me, I not only love her but like her as a person.
My son Jakflak has really taken the world by storm, with his Spazzstick invention. It was even written up in the New Zealand Herald paper. He's the only police officer in Kaktovik, raising 5 children and whipping out spazzstick on the side. He is no longer the boy I knew years ago, but a man with a family of his own and quite the entrepreneur also. He would give you the shirt off his back and worries about his sister. He's an excellent husband, Christian and has become very wise over the years. He has an amazing sense of humor! Funny...funny...funny! He keeps his Mom & Dad laughing all the time.
You know what? I am so Thankful for what God has done in both of their lives. They are both truly amazing and I am very pleased with the way they have turned out. I would'nt change a thing about them, not a thing...
How lucky I am!
