QUICK TOUCHDOWN
I have a little time, so I thought I would surface and post.
The weather has been wonderful! Its actually in the 50's with the sun shining and the blue sky. Its so nice.
My SIL Diane came to Spokane two days ago and will be leaving again on Sunday. It was nice to see her again, shes such a sweetie! She was able to have a few hours to visit with her daughter Beth, before she took off to live with her sister in Arizona. Darn...she was the best dog groomer I have ever had and now she is gone forever. These two nieces move all over the place and we only get to see them every 10 years or so. They are so brave and independent.
Yesterday I got to see the baby for several hours. Today they came to visit and stay for supper, so I got to cuddle Daniel several more hours. He already knows my voice and face. He try's to talk and even laughs out loud. What a cutie! I could eat him up! My daughter is doing much better now, but still holds her side when she stands up or laughs. I have this evil desire to tell her jokes, all of the sudden.
Monday is her 31st B-day. Yikes! We told her she could come over on Sunday for dinner and a small B-Day party, just the 5 of us. I will get her presents wrapped and make her a cake. She requested her Dads fried Chicken and my home made biscuits, for her B-Day meal. I think all of my kids request the very same meal on their B-Days. I will be able to see Daniel again. He just feels soooo good to hold and talk to.
Mr.D is still having trouble with his knees. He saw the Dr. last week, and had a couple cortisone shots in his knees. The last few days, he has been almost falling, each time he tries to stand up or get out of the car. Its like his knees just can't support him now. He is talking about going back and seeing about getting the knee surgery scheduled. This will be hard on him, it will make him slow down for the summer. He loves the summers and his gardens.
Our Pastors wife has been having violent headaches lately. She was diagnosed with a tumor on her brain. They are almost positive it is benign but will be doing surgery soon. We are taking over meals for them, during this time. We are signed up for tomorrow.
