One vykadin induced high after another...
So yesterday I finally went back to work. And my back is still sore.
It's not as bad as I remember it, especially for a truck night. 61 customers through my register. I used to break 200 easily, and 350 was around my high score. A lot of things have changed, but me still knowing jack-all about the difference between a grommit and a pcv valve remains the same.
Kind of unusual, in that half the employees treated me like the new guy and explained everything in detail to me, and the other half (who were there before I left) treated me like I should know all this shit already. Truth was somewhere in the middle, but I wasn't about to complain when the attractive assistant manager practically hand held me through the day.
Though with my first check, I'm going to eat sushi. Lots of sushi. How I miss you so.
And alcohol. I seriously need to get plastered. Though I don't know how well beer and sushi would mix...
