First of all, I'd like to say that I'm overjoyed that the CBC lockout is over. Their webpage finally looks good again and we'll finally be able to have Radio 1 playing nearly non-stop at home.
Anyway, I noticed the following article on their site: PM accused of hurting free trade
I laughed when I saw it. Actually, the whole "don't retaliate over the softwood lumber dispute, use diplomacy" bit has been said before multiple times, so the laughing at it isn't new. Laughing at stupidity is sometimes more fun than getting angry about it. I mean, are these people thinking? Have they not been paying attention? We've been using diplomacy for ages. Again and again NAFTA rulings have been in our favour. The US hasn't budged. Maybe we should realize that what we've been doing so far isn't working. It's about time that we tried retaliation.
