I really like the way you approached this story. As always, a wonderful read. You made this much more than the usual 'let's see how much whump Neal gets,' and into some character growth for Peter. It wasn't too angsty at all. You also did a great job on the hospital scenes. I hate it when it's always the same of everyone gathered in the hospital over and over again. This was very different. Again, a very good read.

Thank you so much for your comment! And, yeah, I'm pretty picky about Neal whump stories, and I think I'm a little obsessed with wanting things to seem realistic. And I totally know what you mean with the "the same of everyone gathered over and over again". That's why I said it was so hard to write and conceive these scenes. The folks at whumpers_guide were great, their feedback really helped me propel the story forward.
