Like I said in my previous post, next on my list for summer shows to look into was Dominion, Extant and The Wil Wheaton Project.
I can now happily report that I've sampled all of their pilots, and actually like them all. I'm not super crazy about Extant or TWWP, but I think I like them enough to keep watching. As for Dominion, that one positively surprised me. I'm not usually into "mystical angel stuff" (as
hope_calaris so eloquently put it), and I haven't seen Legion, but I gave it a shot, and I'm glad I did. The story is compelling, and I like the characters. Even the evil ones.
This one guy, I had a really hard time figuring out where I knew him from. Luke Something-Something. Or so? I don't remember. I'm shite at remembering names. But anyway, I looked him up on IMDb, and--tada! He was in Monroe. Playing a not exactly likeable guy either. *gasp* What a surprise! As a Cabin Pressure fan, it's also nice to finally see Anthony Head in moving pictures. Albeit with an American accent... *sigh* Lots of accents going on in this one. Not all genuine, unfortunately. Even I can tell.
And now it's back to the sofa for more extreme-couching. But I figure I've earned it, seeing how I started my day with a 90-minute Vinyasa Flow yoga workout. Ommmmmm.
