It’s taken a while to write this up, because, man, so much shit was going down in this episode, and it took me days to put this together. I also got constantly distracted by the urge and enjoyment of photoshopping Sherlock screencaps into quote collages. But here it finally is, my “His Last Vow” review/recap.

ok…so i was kind of jealous of Janine…i mean …my husband laughed at my reaction.. did u notice how Sherlock held her at the waist when she was seated on the arm of his chair (pure Jealousy in me i didnt know existed to this extent ) and kind of stroked her arm tenderly …was it my imagination ???? i know he was just playing the part …but.. noooooo …can you imagine..me ?? a mom of two adorable kids with such a loving husband having Jealousy pangs !!! but i guess thats SHERLOCK for all of us..capable of evoking different emotions… i don't even know ..i think if i met such a personality in real life i would more probably be put off with his behaviour but then ..its SHERLOCK ( my whatsapp status says" i'm SHERlocked again" and my husband doesn't forget to remind me of that.. much to his humour )..
Molly…molly… Did you notice dear that when she asks him to say " sorry" he actually says" Sorry your engagement’s over - though I’m fairly grateful for the lack of a ring".. Poor Tom didn't last…but we're all happy for Molly…She deserves better but you think you want to put this point in your review ??
and pray tell me how does one wait( and God knows when will it be )for Season 4 to begin… my kids( both toddlers) are beginning to observe and waiting for their pre-occupied mom (is there a term we can coin SHERLOCK-OCCUPIED ) to come back to normalcy

It means such a lot that you identified with what I wrote, always a pleasure to have fandom companions.
It's easy to be jealous of Janine, although I'm sure that I could not be around Sherlock for longer than an hour. He'd drive me absolutely crazy. I would probably constantly yell at him. :-) But, yeah, Sherlock can do these things to a woman. You should not have regrets, it's an ode to Moffat and Gatiss and their writing, and the actors and their portrayal of the characters.
I'm not actually a Molly/Sherlock shipper, although I love their dynamic and I feel bad for Molly's unrequited admiration of the man. But I *am* glad that the fling with Tom is over. Did *not* like the guy!
John/Mary is a match made in heaven, and I still like her despite everything. Season 4 should be interesting, provided they don't kill her off right away. The chemistry between them was and felt very real.
I also share your preoccupation with the show. My colleagues at work already give me pitiful smiles whenever I mention the name Sherlock. I guess it's hard to understand for people who just watch TV as a means to relax after a long day. I guess you need to have been born with the fandom gene to really get it.

I'm not a Molly/Sherlock shipper too and i feel that Molly is not someone Sherlock would "love" ..she is someone he cares about but she can't evoke the feelings i think Irene Adler might…after all he went to great lengths to save her from being executed. Irene Adler is someone he might consider his "equal" of sorts… i loved the way Sherlock said" the woman" and again with emphasis on The.. " THE Woman" at the end of " A scandal.."…or even the way he composed the Irene track when he thought her dead… i thought he showed signs of being heartbroken or at least some form of deep sadness..check out his expression as he comes out of Barts and before he enters 221 B ( by the way..there was a lipstick mark on his cheek i noticed after he finds his cell phone inside his coat pocket in A scandal.. was Irene already getting smitten by our daring Detective)
fandom gene ?? :-) you are brilliant, lady !!! take a bow …maybe we should after all ,as you suggested earlier start our own club over cups of tea and nicotine patches ;-)
