Update
A season of ups and downs.
Christmas itself was good but Dave's grandmother died on Xmas Eve (it was expected but still bad). We're going to the funeral today. My dad's giving us a lift, because it seems the west coast train line was hit by a light aircraft and then a load of power lines went down.
Dave's brother has been staying with us over New Years. He's moving up here in Feb, which will mean moving in with us for a bit until he finds a job. New Years Eve was a good time, lots if chatting with friends, which is always good. Unfortunately Dave's brother was attacked in the early morning on New Years Day as he was walking back to our house. He was in A & E and has had to have various dental procedures to sort out damaged teeth, otherwise all the damage is superficial and he has been looking less battered everyday.
I am hoping the year improves from this. We have high hopes that it will.
I've been a bit distracted recently and have gotten behind on a couple of things I need to do.
Wedding-wise we're progressing and getting stuff done. All is going well in that area and should continue to do so.
