Back from holiday
Hello!
Currently at my parents' house in Worcestershire, they are not underwater although parts of Worcester seemed to be last night.
Oxford was quite nice only some rain. The hotel was pretty fancy, good thing weren't paying full price.
Went through London on Thurs, mostly wandered around in the sun before heading south again to Eastbourne.
On the first day Eastbourne was alright. Hotel slightly less fancy than the previous one, had an indoor swimmingpool but sadly it was tiny.
Friday (which was our -1 wedding anniversary) was awful. Not only did davegotsu have a bad shoulder/neck but the weather was awful! There lots of rain and strong wind off the sea, meaning that at one point I was walking towards the sea front very slowly, much like someone pretending to walk in a high wind. Turns out that's more accurate than I thought.
The meetings of parents in Oxford and Abingdon went alright. It's not like they really have to get on, more that they know who the others are.
Returning to Birmingham later today. After which we have a week off. :)
What's happening over the next week? Anyone doing anything or want to come round?
