I was reading in a Times supplement (which was at work, I've decided that I can't be arsed to pay for news) that Kelsey Grammer -despite being fabulously wealthy- has a new sitcom. It is crap. And now cancelled.

The reviewer admired his still wanting to work but said that the problem was he would always be Fraiser Crane, and sometimes Sideshow Bob in the Simpsons, to us all.
This is sort of true. At Christmas (or possibly Kelsey Grammer day) I was a little confused about why Frasier was wearing those loud shirts in Miami when surely he should be in Seattle being grumpy with Martin.
The thing the reviewer forgot to add (possibly because she is a TV reviewer) is that he is also Beast from the X-Men. In the same way that Patrick Stewart is both Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Professor Charles Xavier.

Which means that the episode of Frasier where Patrick Stewart guest starred as camp opera director Alastair, who believes he is going out with Frasier, pretty much became X-Men slash.
All you have to do is imagine blue fur and a wheel chair (the latter being a bit harder as Alastair walks around and dances). It's hilarious.

I'm looking forward to the new Narnia film. Because Eddie Izzard voice-acts a mouse. That's not the only reason but it's a major one.
Good comedian/actor + cute (albeit CGed) mouse = happy.
