It's a hymen love, not a medal

People should watch this, which I couldn't post for some reason.
Do I need a paid account or is it to do with youtube?

Anyway...
The rant at the start is so good.
The later nativity is pretty amusing too.

I don't meant to offend anyone by posting this, but I don't think anyone on my flist is likely to be offended by it. In fact I suspect most people will understand.

I respect people having faith, I used to have faith so I understand.
I don't respect people who feel that simply by having faith (or appearing to) they are superior, or that they have the right to impose their beliefs/themselves upon others.

softfruit you were interested in this programme earlier, well someone has posted a lot of the Late Edition on youtube. I suggest people watch part one of this episode, the second bit is only OK.

In part one Marcus Brigstocke mentions the Saudi woman who was sentenced to a lashing after being gang-raped, and highlights Bush's lack of a serious reaction when questionned about it.

This is his response to Bush's jokey smile and light-hearted shrugging:

"I suppose it's [rape in Saudi Arabia] a bit like anal sex, it hurts a lot less when there's a lot of oil involved."
