Advice needed

Help!
I need present ideas for my siblings, especially my sister. I have to go shopping on Saturday and I don't want to linger in town as it's too busy/horrendous for browsing. I've just done an Amazon order, but I'll do another if necessary.

Sister (19): We are often described as opposites; she likes mainstream, girly things but is not a complete ditz or hopeless trendy. She doesn't read much but I think that's cos she doesn't look for books much. I could buy her some girly book but I don't know much about them. She definitely doesn't like alternative stuff.
She suggested 'smellies' or ornaments, any idea what shops are good for that kind of stuff?

Brother (16): Already suggested a DVD that I got dirt cheap so I'd like to buy him something else. He doesn't have the attention span for much reading but given the way his life is at the moment I think reading would benefit him a lot. I'm thinking maybe a comic/graphic novel as they aren't too wordy. He likes action and comedy films, not especially into fantasy/SF but not adverse to it.
Any comic fans want to suggest something good for starting out in the graphic novel genre?

Any suggestions appreciated. :)
