Having trouble deciding what I want for christmas.
Barely added anything to my wishlist. I rarely use CDs, we have loads of DVDs and I haven't even seen all the ones I own yet, and as for books (which comprise the bulk of my list) most I can get from work anyway and again there are loads in the house I haven't read yet. So far it's favourite authors and a few random things.
Can't even think of practical stuff I need at the moment.
At least now I get given money by a lot of people, which is nice cos I like to save it for stuff.
I'm thinking maybe I should get people to donate to charity instead. Except that most of my relatives are going to feel more comfortable giving me something so I'm not sure how well that'll work.
Finished
- A Darkling Plain by Philip Reeve, book 4 of the Mortal Engines quartet.
- Gormenghast by Mervyn Peake. Had a big volume with the whole triology, only actually read Titus Groan as there were other books I want to read and I'm not sure I could finish the whole thing before Christmas. I'll pick it up again later.
Reading
- Navigator by Stephen Baxter, Book 3 of the Time's Tapestry Series
To Read
- Something by G. K. Chesterton, depending what's available at work
- The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie
- Keeping It Real by Justina Robson
- Rest of Gormenghast
