The Best Blogging Sites NOT Named Blogger

For a long time now, I've wanted to set up a blog on a site besides Livejournal.  As much as I like it here, I see this as more of a place for personal journaling and fun postings that aren't meant to be taken seriously.  I'd like to keep this journal, but I also would like a more public blog.  Granted, I do have such a blog in its early stages at www.TJ1380.blogspot.com, but that's through Blogger.  Blogger really sucks right now.  I had written a post there on Wednesday that meant a lot to me and one that I felt was very important, and now it's gone.  The word is that it will be back once all the issues with Blogger are cleared up, but it doesn't change the fact that it's pissed me off.  If it doesn't get cleared up soon, I might abandon my new blog and start another one somewhere else.

Anyway, I thought I'd ask everyone here about the best blogging sites in the Web.  I know a lot of my friends have blogs elsewhere, and maybe some of the sites they use will let me post what I want when I want.
