Writer's Block: The Best
Getting a job and slowly working my way out of the rut I've been in would have to be up there. I haven't officially started working yet (I have about thirty hours of training to go through first), but the fact that I'm actually hired somewhere is more than I can say for what's been happening with me for the last few months.
Actually, I've had kind of a busy month. In addition to getting a new job, I've also been playing in a pit orchestra for the first time since high school. That's been fun, although I'll be glad when it's over. The drive there is a real pain, and I can't get the score to "Wizard of Oz" out of my head.
I also got to go to CONvergence for the first time, which was quite an experience and the most fun I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be going back next year.
