(no subject)
I apologise for the random nature of this post...
For those of you that care--there are no more exploding eggs.
I have run-up with a dilemma. I would like to bring my car to school, but would rather not accrue the costs. as I will be living in an apartment-thing...and will be [hopefully] cooking more often, it wouold be useful for grocery store trips, and I would much rather drive home on my own time [i wouldnt mind driving people home with me, i would just rather be in control...mwa hahaha...] anyway. if anyone has any ideas, let me know.
the waitress-turned-dishwasher for the night last night tried to con me into staying 2-3 extra hours to wash dishes...yeah right! that would have given me a 15 hour day. not fun. [well, if she would have paid me an extra $5/hour + surrender all of her tips for the night, MAYBE id consider something...but, then again, no. needless to say, she didnt win that one, but maybe now she'll learn the names of our 2 dishwashers, quit ordering people around, and actually have a healthy respect for the job. [im not a dishwasher, but have had to do it when we were in between. its not fun. but it needs too be done]
Its doo HOT! Its supposed to cool down this week...to 104...
