I shadowed tours last Thursday again at the Village and I got my own period costume! The people are so nice, one lady is going to hem the skirt the next time I'm in, because it's so long, but it's pretty: it's grey with some skinny red stripes running down it, and a white blouse, and hat, and shoes. Hee! I think a couple more days shadowing, and I'll be ready to starting giving little tours to my family/friends, which is how they suggested I start to see how I do. I love it. I love old things. If anyone from my high school knew I was going to be giving tours and talking for about an hour and a half to strangers, they would just die.
Today is Steve's 21st birthday, and last night I surprised him by taking him to the Fireside Dinner Theater in Fort Atkinson, WI to see "Fiddler on the Roof" because it's his favorite play and that place is awesome.
