Day 24 → What Tickles My Fancy
This is the continuing saga of Roxie.
We no longer have our dog.
We took her to the new vet for the second blood test, and it came back with even more elevated liver enzymes. Upon meeting her, the entire staff fell in love, and agreed to find her a new home once she had been treated. We took her and all her stuff to the vet's office and signed over all claims on Roxie.
They have since performed another liver test - a fasting one - and the results were not good for that either. She's scheduled to have an ultrasound next week, but in the meantime Roxie is perfectly happy, and the staff is reportedly fighting about who will get to take her home for the weekend.
We miss her, but I think we did the right thing. From a financial standpoint we certainly did.
