Day 16 → A Song That Makes Me Cry
The first one that comes to mind is In My Life, but it doesn't always affect me that way - just when I think about the implication of the lyrics. It's actually one of my favourite songs, and I much prefer the slower, Bette Midler version to the original. I have even sung this song in public, and I regularly perform it on my flute.
Goodbye My Lover is also a song that can make me cry if I pay too much attention to the lyrics. It's a breakup song to beat all breakup songs. Here is the last verse, which always gets me:

Say Goodbye to It All by Chris DeBurgh definitely makes me cry - especially when he talks about the beaches of Normandy and the boys who said goodbye to it all. My father was on the beaches of Normandy, a few days after the invasion, and saw the devastation and the dead soldiers first-hand.
The Carpenters also had a series of really depressing songs, but I think the most poignant is Goodbye to Love. Here are the lyrics - if this doesn't drive a depressed person to suicide, nothing will:
