Christmas Break
It's been really cold lately, especially at night and early morning. That's one sign among others that it's already the holiday season. Too bad for me though, since I hate the cold weathers. They make me sick, literally. For the entire week last week, I was sick with fever and colds. I wasn't able to do the lab report for EEE 52 and go Christmas shopping with my family that time because I was too sick. I still felt too sick to go to school the Monday the next day and I was really tempted not to go to school since I only had 1 class in the afternoon that day... but in the end I decided to resist temptation and overcome my sickness... only to find out that we will have no classes that day. -_- The next day, I still decided to go to school despite still not feeling well. The bad thing is, I still need to do a lab report for the next day, but I was not able to do anything because I was sick. What's worse, I still need to do some recording as a lab assignment from DSP. So I went home late to do the recording, and barely slept to do the lab report... only to find out that the next day that we will not have any lab but only need to pass the report... and then for 3 hours for the lab meeting only to find out we will not have any. -_- The next day, Thursday, I was still feeling a bit sick, but still went to school for only 1 class... that only lasted for 30 mins because our prof was also not feeling well. -_- Really, if I had known all those times I could have just rested, my sickness wouldn't last an entire week. -_-;;;
This week has been quite busy, though. Monday, I attened the awitan for the first time in my life with my friends and ended up going home late. Man after that night, I was having an LSS of Kumukutikutitap for a couple of days. >_< On Wednesday, we had a DotA session in the morning and that lasted until 3 pm. Then, we had lunch at Vanni's condo, then watched Indakan again for the first time, later that night, hence I also went home late. Thursday, we watched the Lantern Parade, which was quite lackluster this year... well at least compared to the only other Lantern Parade I went to last year. Afterward we waited for the fireworks display after the parade at the Sunken Garden. We almost thought that there won't be any fireworks that night, but was surprise when we started seeing the fireworks... coming from the other side of the acad oval. So some of us ran towards the other end and good thing we were able to see at least some part of the fireshow up close at the end. Later that night, we had another DotA session that lasted from 9pm to 3am. We then went to Meyor's place to sleep and eat breakfast, and had ANOTHER DotA in the morning until around 3. The sad thing is, after playing all those DotA, we still had not enough and we may have another session this coming week. ^^; We ate afterward and some of use went to the DSP Christmas Party to end the week.
Finally, 2 weeks Christmas break starts. The bad thing is it may not be much of a break for me. For some reason, around 1 out of my 3 classes ended up having no classes so I sem so far was quite light. But for the Christmas break, I had 2 homeworks, 3 machine problems, 1 problem set and reading assignment to do. I also have to study since I will have a long exam on the FIRST Saturday of the new year. Joy. x_x I hope I will still enjoy my vacation. -_-;;;
As for my my mood... umm, yeah, stunned... speechless... x_x
