Thanks for the recipes

I've got two conflicting ideas for recipes. On the one hand, things like what were suggested in previous posts (and thank you, they were all wonderful ideas). These are more-or-less American, easy to find ingredients for, and relatively easy to prepare. (Or, at least, since they're foods typical of the US, they don't involve any sort of strange preparations.)

On the other hand, I'm also looking at stuff like the recipes featured here:

These are less American and have a more unusual (although not necessarily harder) preparation. These also tend to be simpler, without some of the richer foods (eggs and cheese) of the former meals (although some do still have some cheese or yogurt).

I like both ideas for recipes. If my goal is to try to show Teresa some good vegetarian options to meals that might be served here, the former category is really what I'm looking for. If it's just to prepare a simple vegetarian meal, then I might consider some of the ones at Operation Rice Bowl.
