Spotify Lands On UK TiVos
A quick bit of news, the Spotify music app, promised for 11/29, landed a bit early and is already showing up on Virgin Media TiVo units in the UK. Users can find it under Home -> Apps -> Music.
No official word on Spotify coming to US TiVos, yet, but it seems likely. Now that the work has been done to create a UK app it can be leveraged to create a US version. And back in July TiVo probed the user base for interest in Spotify in the US. It seems like it would be a no-brainer to bring it to the US as well. It would be Premiere units only, of course.
