Only through this Thursday, August 25th, TiVo is offering refurbished - sorry, ‘factory renewed’ - TiVo Premiere units for $49.99 - down from the usual $79.99 for refurbs, or $99.99 for new units. There is on catch - you can’t get product lifetime service, you need to commit to one year of monthly service. That’s $19.99 for new subscribers, but the good news is the unit is eligible for the $14.99 MSD rate as an additional unit on an existing account.
