Sorry if this subject has been asked over and over and over (I went back through several pages of entries and tried the search function on the user info, if that's any consolation), but I think Tivo's website is ambiguous and I'm still confused as to whether I'm going to have issues.
I have a Series 2 and a Series 2 DT, both hooked to cable (no cable box). My friend insists that my Series 2 will become basically nonfunctional after 2/17, while my Series 2 DT will only be able to tape one channel at a time. Is this true? Should I be scrambling to get an HD Tivo to replace my non-functional Series 2?
