Unbox with Tivo and the Twilight Zone

In the process of testing out Amazon unbox, I found out that somehow the names I gave my Tivos were swapped. My Series 2 was named Buckminster for the longest time. Somehow, it swapped with my Series 3 (Bertrand). I wonder how that happened. The only thing I can think of is that Tivo swapped them based on the lifetime membership transfer

I had the same issue. They seem to switch the names
when they switch the contracts for the lifetime transfer.

Ah good. My theory was confirmed. That's cheeky.

Yeah, It is. But now I know. And I feel bad about blaming amazon when I downloaded videos to the wrong tivo, instead of blaming tivo. Hmph.

I'm sure, if I ever have more than two, location will be necessary. However, I had only one for the longest time, and so fun names are given to my Tivos. Although, fun in the sense that I'm naming my Tivos after great minds in history.

I only have one, and I call it SteVo.

Yeah, this is not uncommon with lifetime transfers.

As for naming, my two S2 boxes are Eris and Discord, my S2 is just Series3.
