Series 3 questions
Now, I know a lot of this has been covered before, and I am looking as best I can; having said that, I won't be offended if someone posts links to the information I seek.
I haven't been paying much attention to the S3 because I don't have HD, and had no immediate plans to get one. However, due to a generous gift at Christmas, the circumstances have changed drastically, and I am giving serious consideration to getting an HDTV and a Series 3 TiVo.
I do have two Series 2's with lifetime, and I know that I need to purchase an S3 this week and activate before the end of January if I want to be able to transfer the lifetime membership.
I know I'll need to have cable service, and not my current satellite provider. Are there any other caveats or gotchas that I need to be aware of? I know practically nothing about HD TVs, service, or Series 3 TiVos.
