Installing the Series 3
The cable guy just left. He did a great job on the install.
Then he gave me a warning: apparently the TiVo series 3 and the comcast cablecards do not get along. They tend to fry out the cards for some reason. He said comcast is working with TiVo on the issue. Great.
So, I can just expect to call the guy and have to swap the cable cards from time to time.
Anyone else with a Series 3 deal with this?
In the meantime, I'll enjoy what I can...
