Noel had puppies last night. Starting at about 10:00 p.m. she went into labor. One tiny black dog popped out. It had been almost 2 hours and no more were coming so we thought she was done. Nope around midnight she popped out another one. Than around 12:45 a.m. one more can. This one was so tiny and not breathing, but I gave it some mouth to mouth and I am pleased to say "Small Fry" is doing well. About 20 minutes later she had one more. My mom and I stayed up with her all night in the main bathroom. Finally when Scott got up for work at 6:30 a.m. we figured she was done because she was sleeping and the pups were drinking milk so we decided to get some sleep. I was the first one up and I went in and checked on her. Something told me to re-count the pups, she had one more. Now here is the funny part. She is red and the daddy is white/yellow. All of the dogs are black with a white spot on their chests. Sadly though, we do have to go get some milk for "Small Fry" because she is so small we have to help her along. But, other than that we have 5 new beautiful puppies. If anyone has any ideas for names I am open for suggestion. The first we, however; my mom has decided to name Midnight. I may keep the name Small Fry too. Just pray Small Fry will be okay.
