Good & bad
I spent the weekend unpacking, arranging and rearranging my possessions. On Saturday, I picked up more shelves for the bookcase in the bedroom and started thinking about curtains. The place is coming together slowly, but surely. I'm sure I'll still be working on it come January, but that's okay.
On Saturday I also spent some time watching the 'best bits' of 24 S2 and S3. Jack angst is yummy! Add Chase to the mix and it only gets better.
My sister's going to have platinum put into her brain next week. Possible complications include apoplexy. Apparently, the doctors aren't terribly concerned about the risks. Good for them! I'm trying not to freak out. I knew she needed something done, but somehow platinum sounds worse than glue - although that probably doesn't make any sense at all. I'll be burying my head firmly in the sand for the next 10 days or so.
