Another lost day

This is one of those days I have too often: I'm too tired to function normally, so I spend time online, flying around, poking my head this way and that, not getting a lot of satisfaction, because I can't concentrate enough to come up with "a plan" (apart from staying awake, of course). I did this to myself again. *sigh*


I'm in charge of "my old system" this week, and that would be "running the system" as an IT professional rather than "being in charge of end-user whatever". I've forgotten A LOT about a) the monthly jobs of the system b) the use of handy tools I used to need daily. It's aggravating, but also nice - I know for sure that my brain does manage to purge excess intel. :-) Then again, I spend a lot of time trying to figure out if there's something I should be doing that I've forgotten. Takes up a lot of mental energy.

I went apartment hunting yesterday. I'm mentally interior decorating an apartment I'm NOT going to buy. If this goes on for too long, my brain will explode. Won't have worry about paying back that loan, then.

The good stuff:

• wolfling has a new chapter of "Unity" up. There's no getting out of bed, but no smut either. I want to pet both Angel & Wes.
• I found kaygrr on LJ and discovered her new site. Looks like there's some ats/btvs stories there I've missed out on.
