changes...
so we got the apartment i wanted... my mom's coming up in a coupla weeks... work is ok...
but unfortunately, we'll have to go through the motions of moving. i'm so excited to be moving into a new place. i love the change, the arranging of furniture, the newness of it all. but i hate packing boxes, moving furniture, heavy lifting, only to move it 6 blocks, and reverse the process... why can't i just snap my fingers and everything will magically appear at the new place... snap them again, and the old place will be cleaned and repaired so that we get our deposit back... but i guess it's not supposed to work that way. i guess it makes you be more certain about moving. we signed a 12 month lease, so at least i'll be set for another year. after that, though, who knows where we'll end up. i like it here. today, the sun is shining, it's a bit chilly, but spring is coming.
i'm beginning to miss everyone. it's a beautiful saturday, and i have no one to hang out with. mikey's working, and when he's off, he'll be tired. i long for a friend here. at least my mom's coming soon. that should fend off the pains for a little while. and i'll be back in may for a wedding. so hopefully i'll catch up with people then... who knows.
