... but that's okay.
So, finally got my Chistmas shopping done. And we met this adorable worker at the bookstore (not adorable as in 'ohmygosh, I'm SO in love with him, like, totally', but adorable as in... adorable. You want to pat him on the head and adopt him), and we spent an hour ranting about Twilight and we volunteered to be editors for the novel he's writing, and he got us to read this creepy and really cool short story by an author named H.P. Lovecraft. It was hilarious.
We're driving out to Victoire again for Christmas, and I don't know what books to bring! Don't you HATE that feeling? I'm doind my Christmas re-reading of 'Lord of the Rings'- gracious, I love that book.
Right now it doesn't completely feel like the Christmas holidays, as I have a math diploma (as in, THE MATH DIPLOMA OF DOOM THAT IS HALF OF MY MARK FOR MY LAST YEAR OF MATH EVER)in the New Year and a duet I'm playing with my piano teacher on Christams day, but we're getting there. Slowly but surely.
The wedding was great fun. The bridesmaids were all airheads- which was interesting because my cousin is definitely not an airhead- and I sat in between a musical prodigy and a classical guitar player at the reception.
That's really all I can think to say, so I shall close with advice to a fellow PK (Priest's kid): Never, ever, ever miss the Sunday before Christmas, especially when it's the week AFTER the Christmas play. Your parents will get so far behind they will not be able to breath, presumably till Christmas is over. Yes indeed.
