Writer's Block: Ready For My Close-Up?
Hmm.. well.. I don't really have writer's block these days, in fact I never was that inspired to write on my LiveJournal or anywhere else for that matter :P BUT... When I saw the question there it made me think of something!
I never really liked to have my picture taken and usually when people asked me.. I said "Nooo the photo is gonna be horrible" or "Ahhhh do I have to?" *lol* It's not that I wasn't photogenic (hmm maybe I am not photogenic *lol*) it's just that I'm ("was" but in transition) fat.. and fat people don't always make the best pictures :P
Alright, I'm not complaining and I'm not saying this because I don't love myself, quite the contrary, but since I had my surgery (to lose weight) I realised that I really love to have pictures of me taken and who cares if they're not extra-good pictures or perfectly posed ones... I think you can really have fun with a camera when you're not obsessed about how your pictures are gonna turn out ;) *hehe*
SO ... before I was the one with the camera in my hands.. (and I still am 'cause I love photography and taking pictures of others) BUT now I'm always bugging people to take pictures of me.. funny pictures, silly faces, nothing in particular .. just.. "CLICK" ;)
It's funny how this surgery and everything surrounding it, changes not only my body and health.. it's starting to change my perception of myself.. the way I looked at certain things.. the way I talk and write.. the things I do.. I'm so glad I had gone through with it and if it was to begin all over again tomorrow I would do it in a heartbeat!!! Crazy I know... but even if it's not perfect right now (especially health-wise) LIFE is really good to me.. and it seems like 2008 is gonna be a good year for me :) Looking forward to it !
So.. writer's block.. I don't think so huh?! :P Ohhh and I included a little photo for you guys.. taken by me *hehe* or I tried :P
